1 Corinthians 13

This beautiful and well-known quote from St. Paul was included in the regular cycle of Epistle readings earlier this week. And its inclusion was timely because it’s the theme for this year’s stewardship season.
As the season approaches, we are reminded of what defines our Christian daily life: the sharing of our time, talents, and treasure with others, both in and outside of the Church. And we do this not out of obligation but for our love of Christ and those around us.
As we approach our Stewardship Appreciation Luncheon in late October, I invite you to join me in reflecting how we’ve shared the bountiful gifts that we’ve received and how we can multiply them in the year to come.
